| The lastest tour by Pathfinder and the CFPS was taking 40145 to Kyle of Lochalsh. However the 40 which took over from 50031 at Preston had to be removed at Carlisle after suffering problems with a cracked turbocharger. 66229 got us to Mossend where 37427 + 37406 took over to Kyle and back where 50031 was waiting for the return leg to Birmingham.
